In 2020, Terpel implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial system to centralize core finance operations. The deployment positioned SAP S/4 HANA to support collections, accounts receivable, treasury and export payment reporting across the company’s commercial lines including Aviation customers.
Configuration focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Treasury, Billing and Invoicing, and Credit Management. Functional workflows were configured to support order to cash activities, execution of prepayments to clients, release of orders, and the generation of customer statements and periodic collection reports.
Operational integrations emphasized payment application workflows and export payment processing, including reporting of international operations and export payments to BANREP. The implementation covers collection management processes for Aviation clients and the operational routines used by portfolio and collections teams to maintain accounts, apply payments, and prepare weekly and monthly collection reports.
Governance workstreams reorganized reporting and process ownership, establishing monthly credit versus insurance coverage reporting and standardized cadence for collection report preparation. Day to day finance and commercial teams use SAP S/4 HANA to manage payment applications, account maintenance, prepayment execution and the release of orders, aligning transaction processing with centralized financial controls.
