In 2017 Tetrosyl implemented MAM Software Autopart to manage its Tetrosyl Express warehouse operations at the companys Rochdale distribution centre. MAM Software Autopart was chosen to support Tetrosyl Express, the trade only next day delivery service that handles more than 40,000 SKUs, and to provide a unified Automotive ERP capability for warehouse and distribution control.
The deployment combined Autopart business management solution functionality with the WMS module to deliver warehouse stock movement capabilities and automated picking support. WMS was configured to track stock progress from goods receipt through to dispatch, maintain a real time view of inventory levels, and operate with handheld scanners to maximize efficiency at each stage of stock control.
Integration work focused on the seamless operational link between Autopart and the WMS module so that inventory status, audit reporting, and order fulfillment workflows were synchronized across the Rochdale site. The implementation impacted distribution and IT operations, with the solution instrumenting order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch workflows for the Tetrosyl Express service.
Rollout governance included coordination with Tetrosyls group IT and distribution leadership to support the new automated picking service at the new distribution centre. According to project statements the environment provides up to the minute status and audit reports and simplifies management of stock movement activities, enabling the business to operate a fast and intensive distribution operation as intended.
