In 2017 Texneo deployed Tableau as its Analytics and BI application to centralize sales performance reporting for regional operations. The deployment targeted the southern Brazil commercial region including Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, supporting a regional sales organization of roughly 12 representatives and the Gerente de vendas regional during the Mar 2017 to May 2018 period. Texneo is a Consumer Packaged Goods company headquartered in Brazil with about 500 employees and annual revenue near 50 million, and Tableau was adopted to provide visual analytics for that commercial scope.
Tableau was configured to deliver sales performance dashboards, KPI tracking, territory performance views, and self service reporting for sales managers and representatives. The implementation emphasized interactive visualizations and operational reporting to support monthly and annual target distribution, sales planning, and individual performance monitoring. Tableau provided the Analytics and BI capability to surface indicators used in hiring, coaching, and regional planning activities.
Operational integration included use of ERP Farbenet as a feed for transactional and performance indicators, with Tableau consuming ERP Farbenet data to produce consolidated dashboards. The solution was used by sales leadership during client visits and at sales conventions and national trade fairs to inform territory decisions and target allocation. Governance centered on using Tableau outputs to standardize distribution of monthly and annual targets and to monitor representative sales evolution across the region.
