In 2020, Textile Exchange implemented IRIS FMP, formerly FMP Global, to address multi-country payroll and HR advisory needs as part of a fully managed service engagement in the Payroll category. The IRIS FMP deployment supported Textile Exchange during an international growth phase, scaling employee headcount from about 50 to 130 across Sweden, Canada, the United Kingdom and several EU countries, and centralized responsibility for payroll operations and HR consultancy.
The engagement was delivered as a managed payroll and human resources consulting model rather than a one-off on premise payroll software licence, with IRIS FMP providing managed payroll processing and HR consultancy services. Functional capabilities referenced in the case engagement included managed payroll processing, payroll administration, statutory compliance support across multiple jurisdictions, and HR consulting for onboarding, payroll lifecycle administration and local employment compliance.
Operationally the scope covered organization wide payroll and HR services across Textile Exchange’s international sites, consolidating multi-country payroll execution under a single managed service provider model. The architecture emphasized service delivery and outsourced processing instead of customer hosted infrastructure, with IRIS Fully Managed Payroll orchestrating country level payroll runs and compliance activities.
Governance and process changes included consolidation of payroll workflows and an externalized payroll governance model with IRIS FMP as the managed service owner, enabling Textile Exchange to streamline payroll and HR processes while expanding into new jurisdictions.
