In 2018, ThamesWey implemented IFS Ultimo CMMS, delivered by Dnastream, to address asset and maintenance management needs within its UK operations. The engagement targeted ThamesWey’s aspiration to refocus its operating model on primary activities while improving cost control, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction, and it explicitly used the Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) approach to centralize maintenance processes.
Dnastream implemented Ultimo Premium for Maintenance, loaded asset related data, and configured the agreed workflows and processes to create an intuitive, adaptable, scalable, web based and mobile solution. The implementation configured standard CMMS capabilities including an asset register and work order management, with mobile maintenance enablement and scheduled maintenance workflows, and it was delivered as IFS Ultimo CMMS to support routine and preventive maintenance execution.
The project consolidated multiple operational sites into a single managed environment while retaining segregation where required, standardizing business rules and workflows across three sites. The Dnastream project team worked alongside ThamesWey on configuration, adoption and sustainment activities, aligning governance and operational workflows to the new CMMS and meeting ThamesWey’s stated requirement to bring multiple sites into one environment.
