Network and systems consolidation extended across the corporate network to provide centralized transactional processing and consolidated financial reporting for the multinational footprint. Governance and process changes instituted included a new IT resource management model, revamped performance metrics and KPIs and collaboration with the CFO to inform both long and short term strategic planning, assuring adherence to departmental goals and timely delivery. Explicit outcomes recorded include lowering tier 1 system downtime by 81%, reducing costs and improving stability through the two tier 1 system upgrades and Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, and establishing streamlined analysis processes to accelerate mergers and acquisitions integration.
