In 2016, The Good Guys implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as their ERP Financial system. The deployment focused on finance and distribution operations within the Australian wholesaler network, formalizing core accounting and inventory controls across the organisation.

The implementation supported reconciliation processes for unidentified transactions with major retail partners including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, and Dick Smith.
Governance and process changes formalised AP processing, expense reimbursement procedures, commission settlement cycles and regular cash flow and balance reporting to Head Office. Financial control routines were embedded in Oracle NetSuite ERP to support monthly BAS reporting and annual schedules, aligning finance, sales and payroll functions under the ERP Financial platform.

In 2018 The Good Guys implemented Oracle Retail (ex Retek) Version 16 as its primary Retail Management platform, deploying a Retail Supply Chain System across The Good Guys stores and the corporate Support Centre. The rollout occurred in March 2018 and focused on standardizing merchandising and store inventory workflows under a single Oracle V16 application footprint.
The implementation included Oracle RMS, SIM, Mobile SIM, ReIM, BIP, and RIB modules. RMS was configured to centralize assortment, pricing and merchandising workflows, SIM and Mobile SIM provided store level inventory control and cycle count capabilities, ReIM delivered enterprise inventory visibility and replenishment orchestration, BIP supported centralized operational and executive reporting, and RIB served as the integration and data orchestration layer between store endpoints and central systems.
Operational coverage included in-store mobile clients and a centralized Support Centre instance, aligning store operations, merchandising, inventory management and supply chain planning under the Oracle Retail (ex Retek) suite. Governance and rollout followed a centralized model with configuration controls for master data, promotions and replenishment processes, and the RIB layer used to standardize transactional flows between stores and the support hub.
