In 2016, Keppel Club implemented Workpro HR Case management within its HR Service Delivery environment. The HR/Admin Manager led the initiative and was responsible for kick starting the new HRIS within two months, conducting system training for employees and coordinating with leadership reporting to the GM and Senior Manager.
Workpro HR Case management was configured to deliver core HR Service Delivery capabilities, including case intake and tracking for grievances and disciplinary matters, employee self-service for attendance, pay and leave, and end-to-end payroll processing to remove paper-based overtime and leave tracking. The system supported the performance management programme by hosting appraisal workflows, updated job descriptions and standardized HR policies and SOPs, while the HR lead executed training and change management for supervisors and managers.
Operational coverage extended across compensation and benefits administration, payroll reconciliation with accounting and headcount records, medical claims handling including WICA administration, recruitment and onboarding for local and foreign staff, and license renewal tracking. The implementation established a centralized data storage system for secured filing and archiving and formalized onboarding and clearance procedures, while governance changes included adoption of a new salary grading structure and structured handling of grievances through case workflows.
Documented outcomes tied to the Workpro HR Case management deployment included full payroll processing via the system, employees self-managing attendance and leave, better reconciliation of payroll accounting and headcounts, receipt of a $25,000 training grant for an Earn and Learn Programme and a customized four-day executive training roll-out. Operational improvements reported by the HR team also included a revamp of the club reception to reduce manning and achievement of SG Clean certifications for club food and beverage outlets, reflecting centralized HR operations and strengthened governance under the HR Service Delivery implementation of Workpro HR Case management.
