In 2018, The Kraft Group & Affiliates implemented Paycom GONE as part of Paycom’s single HCM to unify HR and payroll across its businesses. The deployment targeted U.S. HR and payroll operations and centralized payroll processing, employee self-service and attendance workflows under the Paycom GONE application in an Absence and Leave Management context.
Functional scope included core payroll, HRIS, employee self-service and time and attendance capabilities, with Time-Off Requests featuring Paycom GONE inferred to be available given the organization’s use of Paycom time and attendance and time-off tooling. The implementation covered HR and payroll business functions across affiliate business units, standardizing absence policy enforcement and automating leave request workflows. Governance emphasized single HCM ownership for U.S. HR operations and a consolidated rollout across subsidiaries, and Paycom publicly cites approximately $5 million in identified savings alongside reported improvements in payroll accuracy and employee self-service.

| ABB Enterprise Software Group | Legacy | ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management | Manufacturing Execution System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 The Kraft Group & Affiliates deployed ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management to standardize production visibility and control across its manufacturing affiliates. The deployment targeted manufacturing entities within the group including Rand-Whitney Containerboard and International Forest Products and aligned the ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management application with enterprise operations under the corporate IT organization.
The ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management implementation focused on core Manufacturing Operations Management capabilities, including manufacturing execution workflows, asset performance and maintenance orchestration, quality management, production scheduling and real-time operations analytics. Configurations emphasized shop floor data capture, event-driven work order handling, and role-based operational dashboards to support plant operators, maintenance teams, and production planners.
The program was delivered alongside a multi-year IT infrastructure re-architecture led by the company CIO and Information Services organization, which included the provisioning of two redundant data centers, extensive network closet upgrades, backbone replacements and enterprise wireless modernization. Integrations were executed with existing enterprise tooling explicitly noted by the IT organization, including Salesforce for CRM workflow alignment, Xerox robotic process automation for downstream process automation, Microsoft for cloud operations continuity, and the firm’s infrastructure vendors for network and virtualization interoperability.
Governance and rollout were managed by the corporate CIO function and the Information Services team, with centralized operational ownership across manufacturing sites and defined plant-level execution processes. The initiative coexisted with enterprise AI efforts and produced application-adjacent outcomes recorded by the organization, notably an AI-based automated raw material detection system that reduced downtime from system repairs and substantially decreased chemical costs, as well as the deployment of an AI-driven behavioral analytics system for security management using corporate telemetry. ABB Ability Manufacturing Operations Management remains the named application supporting the group’s Manufacturing Operations Management objectives.
