OneAdvanced Legacy Advanced Business Cloud Essentials Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, The Masonry Center implemented Advanced Business Cloud Essentials as its Manufacturing ERP. The deployment leveraged the companys on-prem VMware vSphere 5.5 estate, comprising 14 servers, and a central remote desktop server accessed by branch sites over an MPLS network serving five warehouse locations. Advanced Business Cloud Essentials was configured to support manufacturing ERP workflows aligned to inventory control, shipping and receiving, and door manufacturing operations. The environment concurrently retained Sage 2015 for accounting and operational finance functions with an indicated update path to Sage 2018 Advanced ERP, reflecting a phased systems landscape rather than an immediate cutover. Operational connectivity included warehouse sites serving the Treasure Valley, Spokane, Billings, Pocatello, and Missoula regions, with roughly 25 concurrent users connecting to the remote desktop environment. The server estate runs mixed Windows Server versions including 2012, 2008 R2, 2008 Standard, and Server 2003 for legacy timekeeping, and standard IT services include ESET endpoint protection, Veeam backups, and email hosted on Office365 across 60 accounts. Infrastructure and operational governance remained in house, with IT maintaining VMware servers across the five warehouse locations, managing MPLS remote access, administering backups and endpoint security, and supporting printers, copiers, and a Mitel VoIP phone system. The implementation narrative centers on on-prem virtualization, remote desktop delivery over MPLS, and a coexistence model where Advanced Business Cloud Essentials provides Manufacturing ERP functionality alongside existing Sage accounting systems.
