These configurations were aligned to routine financial operations, month end close sequencing and ledger reconciliations referenced in the role description. Governance and operational ownership were situated within the finance function under the Financial Controller, with process documentation, policy reinforcement and staff coaching used to operationalize controls and ensure accurate timely recording of transactions in Oracle E-Business Suite. The implementation emphasized hands on training and internal capability building, evidenced by a fixed term Assistant Accountant role tasked with embedding system usage across teams. Rollout activities concentrated on policy alignment, user adoption and strengthening month end controls within Stats NZ's finance organization.
