In 2015, Disney deployed FIS GETPAID as its AR Automation platform for advertising and media receivables. The FIS GETPAID implementation centralized collections workflows for Television, Radio, and Ad Agency customers and served as the operational system for managing a high-value portfolio exceeding 100 million.
Functional configuration emphasized collections management, customer communications logging, dispute and deduction tracking, and accounts receivable reporting, with FIS GETPAID used to record all phone calls, emails, and customer correspondence. FIS GETPAID supported reconciliations performed alongside sales representatives to resolve open balances and to prepare inputs for month-end and quarter-end closing reporting.
Operational scope combined Finance and Sales touchpoints, with AR teams responsible for ad and TV collections and sales reps engaged in account reconciliation workflows. Governance centered on system-based documentation of customer interactions and standardized close-cycle inputs to ensure consistent reporting across media revenue streams.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, Disney implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management application to standardize maintenance practices for equipment and attractions. The implementation centered on creating and editing company-wide business practices, work instructions, and standards that codified ride law and manufacturer requirements as well as priority and lower priority maintenance items.
Documentation work focused on the IBM Maximo Request for Materials module and included detailed work instructions and process definitions. Work products were produced in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Visio, and the documentation described procedural workflows for planners and craft workers to follow while maintaining equipment and attractions, alongside materials requisition and procurement touchpoints typical of Enterprise Asset Management systems.
Operational coverage was global, with the Request for Materials module used by craft workers, casual buyers, service managers and engineering managers. The program involved interviews with subject matter experts in mechanical engineering and software engineering to capture technical requirements and to align system procedures with engineering constraints and maintenance best practices.
Governance and rollout emphasized a formal document review cycle and ongoing maintenance of documentation, facilitated with planners, engineering managers, casual buyers, service managers and the Business Integration & Planning manager. Updated and maintained using Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Visio, the deliverables served as standardized processes and procedures for planners and craft workers across Disney’s maintenance and engineering functions.
