| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Woodbridge implemented Epicor ERP as its ERP Financial solution to centralize inventory, shipping, receiving and MRP workflows across manufacturing operations. The Epicor ERP deployment was scoped to support materials management and logistics for a three shift 24/7 operation in a 160,000 square foot primary facility and a 60,000 square foot offsite warehouse, aligning procurement and shop floor supply chains with financial recordkeeping.
Configuration emphasized core inventory control and MRP procurement capabilities in Epicor ERP, including WIP component tracking, cycle count and inventory adjustment workflows, and shipping and receiving transaction processing. The implementation incorporated time studies and process updates to shipping and outbound workflows, and used Epicor ERP transaction controls to enforce material receipts, vendor receipts posting, and inventory reconciliation routines.
Operational architecture included coexisting systems observed in operations, with shipping, receiving and inventory records maintained in AS400 and Epicor ERP and operational interaction with CMS systems identified as Cisco and GRS. Epicor ERP functioned as the transactional backbone for materials planning and procurement, while integrations with existing operational systems supported daily posting of receipts, vendor label handling, and lineup tool updates.
Governance and process change were driven through Kaizen events, monthly safety and operations meetings, and formal audit and reporting cycles such as monthly S5 audits and Kaizen reports. The warehouse and materials organization ran with eight direct reports including three team leads, and Epicor ERP configuration enforced cycle count cadence, facility transfers, and standardized SOT procedures to align operations with procurement and compliance requirements.
Measured outcomes documented during the implementation period included an increase in outbound shipping accuracy to 92 percent in fiscal 2014 from 84 percent the prior year, a sustained monthly inventory accuracy percentage of 98.4 percent covering WIP, components and finished goods, and Kaizen-driven savings of 10,000 dollars applied toward fiscal 2015. Epicor ERP continued to support international shipping and receiving compliance and day to day inventory control activities for Woodbridge.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023, Woodbridge implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, branded internally as Teammate Central, to serve as its Core HR application. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to support the company’s core HR processes and to provide teammates with intuitive, fast access to HR self-service capabilities. The deployment spans Woodbridge operations at 50 locations in more than 10 countries, leveraging the solution’s localization capabilities to handle country-specific HR parameterization and regulatory settings.
Configuration work emphasized position management, with the position management feature explicitly cited as helping to smooth the plant acquisition process by enabling structured tracking of roles and organizational assignments. The implementation centralizes employee records and self-service workflows to streamline HR and Total Rewards administration across sites, while localized configurations support regional compliance and operational variability. Woodbridge’s internal branding of the application as Teammate Central indicates a user adoption and change management focus tied to Core HR standardization and multi-country operational coverage.

| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor CMS | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, Woodbridge implemented Epicor CMS in the Automotive ERP category to consolidate manufacturing, finance, and supply chain workflows across its global operations. The deployment followed a formal vendor evaluation and was selected to support just-in-time assembly, sequencing systems, and polyurethane foam production processes while aligning enterprise and plant-level operations.
Epicor CMS was configured at Woodbridge to run core modules including financials, production, shipping, receiving, customer service, and purchasing, together with Epicor event-based reporting and EDI capabilities. The implementation included Epicor Customer and Vendor Portal functionality to publish production schedules and accept vendor shipment confirmations, and standard configuration patterns were used to cover built stock, sequencing, repetitive processes, and work-order processing.
The rollout approach began with a three month first-plant installation and was optimized by pre-configuring master files and downloading them to each plant prior to go-live, reducing subsequent plant installs to about four weeks and enabling a cadence of roughly one plant per month. Operational coverage grew to 21 plants, with all Canadian facilities and most US and Mexico operations on the system, and plans to extend to Australia, while the company maintained multi-region support for sites in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Governance relied on a train-the-trainer model where Epicor trained key users who then delivered plant-level training, and on centralized master data distribution to accelerate rollouts. Reported operational changes included real-time work center reporting replacing batch processing, tighter integration between manufacturing and finance, and automated vendor interactions via the Customer and Vendor Portal that reduced paperwork and manual errors while speeding workflow.
