Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Theramex deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation supported supply chain operations in the United Kingdom for a finished goods portfolio of approximately 200 SKUs and was used to coordinate with global markets and internal stakeholders. Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to support core procurement and planning workflows, including supply planning parameter management, purchase order creation and vendor scheduling, goods receipt recording, inventory control, sales order and invoice processing, and generation of export documentation such as packing lists and HS codes. These functional capabilities align with standard ERP Financial modules for procurement, inventory, order management, and basic trade documentation. A Supply Chain Coordinator at Theramex operated Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations from October 2018 to October 2021, managing the end to end process for finished products. Operational practices included weekly supplier calls to track production and goods receipt, liaison with suppliers, freight forwarders and third party logistics providers, and close coordination with finance and quality teams to maintain accurate system parameters and transactional records. Governance and workflow emphasis centered on disciplined maintenance of supply planning parameters in the ERP Financial system and cross functional communication rhythms between supply chain, finance and quality. The configuration documented in the system was used to drive procurement execution, inbound logistics recording, and export documentation handling across Theramex supply chain operations.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources Core HR HCM Avanade 2018 2019
In 2018, Theramex implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as part of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform strategy to establish Core HR capabilities. The company had under twelve months to stand up finance, human resources, supply chain and inventory systems and required validated systems to meet pharmaceutical Computer System Validation and General Medical Protocol requirements, so it selected Microsoft and engaged Avanade to deliver the program within the strict timeframe. The implementation centered on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 HR Talent to provide core human resource functionality, delivering common workforce administration and talent-oriented workflows at global scale. Avanade developed a global template that encapsulated the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources configuration, enabling consistent HR processes while limiting localization to legal and fiscal variations. Architecturally the solution was delivered on the broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform to accommodate finance and operations alongside the HR implementation, creating a platform-level alignment between HR and financial processes. The global template approach allowed rapid replication to additional markets, and the first wave of deployments went live across 11 entities using the same core configuration with targeted localizations. Governance and process controls were explicitly designed to support pharmaceutical compliance, with system validation and CSV governance embedded into the rollout and operational controls to meet licensing and regulatory review needs. Avanade orchestrated the template-driven rollout, applying common processes globally and managing localized legal and fiscal changes to minimize custom divergence. As documented in the case study, Theramex achieved a rapid Core HR deployment within the critical timelines and established validated human resource systems that enabled the business to trade under required regulatory conditions, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources operational across multiple entities in the initial deployment wave.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Theramex implemented Microsoft Power BI to consolidate demand forecasts across multiple markets. Microsoft Power BI was deployed as the enterprise Analytics and BI layer to aggregate forecast inputs, support demand forecast consolidation and checks, and prepare datasets for import into D365. The implementation centered on developing central datasets and data models that support multi-level reporting, with dashboards maintained and updated in Power BI. Functional capabilities implemented include demand forecast consolidation, automated validation checks on incoming market forecasts, report authoring and dashboard visualization, and ongoing database maintenance and data mining. Microsoft Power BI was used to create and maintain dashboards and to generate differing levels of reports for operational and managerial review. Integration points explicitly include the import of consolidated forecast data into D365, establishing a data handoff between Power BI datasets and D365 for downstream planning processes. Operational coverage targeted market-level forecast collection and consolidation workflows, extending to demand planning and commercial reporting across Theramex markets. The architecture used centralized Power BI workspaces and shared datasets to standardize reporting artifacts and support scheduled refresh cycles. Governance workstreams focused on assigning data stewardship for forecast inputs, defining validation rules for demand forecast checks, and maintaining the underlying reporting databases that feed Power BI. Day to day operations included data mining, dataset maintenance, and production of multi-tiered reports, with rollout and ownership retained within the company planning and reporting teams.
