Finacus Legacy Finacus FinAePS Payment Processing ERP Financial Management n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Tjsb Sahakari Bank India began a UPI pilot with Finacus and provisioned Finacus FinAePS as a Payment Processing platform to support its agent banking and biometric Aadhaar enabled AEPS activity. The engagement established a payments foundation that aligned bank agent endpoints with UPI rails and Aadhaar authentication flows, positioning the bank to extend cash in and cash out services at the last mile. The implementation centered on Finacus FinAePS modules for agent onboarding, biometric authentication, transaction routing, and settlement and reporting capabilities typical of Payment Processing deployments. Configuration emphasized AEPS workflows for Aadhaar based authentication, agent transaction capture at point of service, and routing logic to ensure interoperability between agent banking services and UPI transactions. Operationally the deployment tied branch and back office clearing to a centralized payments switch integrated with UPI ICD rails during the bank’s go live, enabling interoperable cash deposit and withdrawal services across the bank’s agent network in India. Governance changes included formalized agent KYC and biometric enrollment processes, and updated clearing and settlement workflows to accommodate interoperable UPI ICD flows. As a result of the Finacus partnership and Finacus FinAePS usage, Tjsb Sahakari Bank India expanded interoperable cash deposit and withdrawal services and strengthened last mile financial access through agent banking and Aadhaar enabled AEPS capabilities.
