In 2018, Top Tier Solar Solutions implemented Clockify for Time and Attendance to centralize employee time tracking and payroll data capture. The Clockify deployment served Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC in Charlotte, NC and was positioned to support HR, payroll and accounting workflows across the company.
Clockify was configured to handle core time and attendance capabilities including timesheet capture, employee time tracking, salary and payroll data consolidation, commission computation and expense reimbursement recording. The implementation complemented Clockify data with Google Sheets for certain administrative tracking, reflecting a mixed operational model for payroll and reporting inputs.
The environment integrated Clockify time data with QuickBooks for extraction of P and L statements and memorized financial reports, enabling the accounting team to generate financial reports for the CEO, CPA and third parties. Operational scope included HR and Payroll administration, with the accounting function processing payroll for an average 200 employees and managing average weekly payroll volumes of approximately $500,000.
Governance and process responsibilities were assigned to HR and payroll administrators who managed hiring and onboarding, payroll portal administration and internal communications for executive needs.
