Functional coverage extended from Procurement to Pay and Order to Cash workflows through Accounts Payable and Sales and Marketing modules, and included Inventory management, Warehouse management, Product Information Management and Production control capabilities aligned to ERP Financial workflows.
The deployment architecture incorporated multi-environment lifecycle management and high availability best practices carried over from earlier work on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, including separate Develop, Test, UAT, Stage and Production tiers, load balancing and SQL Server Always On availability. Integrations and data orchestration included Magento e-commerce and AX Retail POS for brick and mortar retail touchpoints, a Sitecore online store, SharePoint Farm integration, and ETL and reporting layers built with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS for data migration and business intelligence. CRM integration work referenced Dynamics CRM integration with Outlook and SharePoint, and SSIS packages were used to migrate and transform data between SQL sources and CRM.
Governance and delivery followed formal requirements capture and Functional Design Document practices based on SureStep methodology, with responsibility for ERP customization budgeting, security configuration to control user access, and performance tuning using tools such as SQL tracer and Profiler.
