In 2013 Topco Associates launched a three-year transformation and implemented Vistex Revenue Management, a Revenue Cycle Management application, to centralize pricing, rebates and promotion management across its member network. The initiative targeted finance and pricing governance for Topco's cooperative business model and emphasized automation of incentive workflows.
The deployment incorporated SAP margin optimization solutions by Vistex, including SAP Incentive Administration and SAP Paybacks & Chargebacks, to instrument rebate processing and payback calculations. Vistex Revenue Management was configured to manage pricing rules, rebate schedules, and promotion accruals while increasing automation for hands-free order processing.
The program focused on finance and price management processes in the United States, with a reasonable estimated go-live in 2014 and staged rollouts across member-facing pricing operations. Operational scope covered centralization of rebate and promotion administration across the member network and alignment of order flow automation to existing commerce channels.
Topco reported outcomes including an increase in hands-free order flow from 11% to over 40% and improved rebate accuracy after centralizing governance under Vistex Revenue Management. The reported results reflect changes to rebate processing and pricing orchestration and document improvements in rebate accuracy and order automation.
