In 2022 Topdanmark deployed Guidewire BillingCenter as part of a coordinated Guidewire program that also included Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Customer Engage, together with self service engage for Salesforce. Guidewire BillingCenter, categorized as Insurance Billing Administration, was implemented to centralize billing account management, invoice generation and presentment, payment processing, billing schedules, and accounts receivable workflows.
Netcompany served as the system integrator for the BillingCenter implementation, delivering a modular architecture that positioned BillingCenter as the canonical billing engine integrated with PolicyCenter and the digital engagement layer. Integrations were established to synchronize policy data, invoice presentment, payment events, and customer communications using service oriented APIs and message exchange patterns. Functional modules configured included billing account lifecycle, invoice generation, electronic presentment, automated payment reconciliation, and dunning orchestration.
The deployment targeted Topdanmark billing operations, finance, and customer service teams within Denmark and was designed to feed customer facing invoicing and payment experiences into the Salesforce self service components. Project governance was organized via a joint Topdanmark and Netcompany steering committee with phased release waves, integrated testing, and business acceptance gates. The Guidewire BillingCenter instance was instrumented to provide event level billing data to Customer Engage for coordinated customer communications and self service workflows.
