In 2015 Topline Motors implemented Collsoft Payroll, a Payroll application, to centralize payroll processing for its single-site car sales operation in Finglas, Dublin. Deployment occurred over a two month period from October 2015 to November 2015, and the rollout was administered by an in-house Accounts Administrator responsible for end-to-end payroll activity for roughly 10 employees.
The Collsoft Payroll implementation covered standard Payroll functional modules including employee master data management, statutory tax and PRSI calculations, payroll run processing, payslip generation, and statutory reporting. Configuration emphasized small-business settings and monthly run cycles, with payslip and register outputs formatted for reconciliation and accounting consumption.
Operationally Collsoft Payroll was used alongside the company accounting and vehicle administration tools, with explicit transactional interfaces and manual export paths. Payroll submissions and statutory filings were completed through Revenue Online Service for VAT, PAYE, and PRSI, payment instructions were organized in coordination with IBB Banking, and payroll outputs were exported to Excel for invoice and ledger reconciliation. Collsoft Payroll operated within the broader operational stack that included Motortrans for vehicle ownership transfers and Eflow for vehicle listings, with payroll activity scoped to the Accounts function.
Governance centered on a single-site process where the Accounts Administrator executed monthly payroll, completed statutory submissions, and maintained reconciliation routines. The implementation emphasized process discipline for PAYE and PRSI filings via ROS, and procedural handoffs to banking and accounting for payment and ledger posting.
