| Contentsquare | Legacy | Hotjar | Customer Experience | CRM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Touring deployed Hotjar on its corporate website. Touring implemented Hotjar as a Customer Experience application to capture qualitative user behavior and on-site feedback across its public web properties, instrumenting the site with the Hotjar tracking snippet to enable heatmaps, session recordings, conversion funnels, and surveys. The deployment follows a client-side instrumentation model where session level interaction data is captured and surfaced as aggregated visualizations and record-and-replay artifacts, supporting digital experience analysis by product and marketing stakeholders.
Operational ownership for Hotjar at Touring is held by the digital and UX teams, who configured modules, consent gating and privacy settings to align with Belgian data protection expectations. Implementation scope covered web behavioral analytics and user research workflows, with outputs feeding conversion rate optimization and content prioritization processes across Touring’s digital channels. Governance practices included role based access to recordings and routine review of captured data to limit personal data exposure while enabling qualitative insight capture for iterative UX improvements.
