In 2014, Tradelink implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation centralized accounts payable processing and enterprise financial reporting across Tradelink Pty Ltd within its Australian finance organization.
The deployment focused on Accounts Payable and Reporting capabilities, with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne configured to process a high volume of supplier invoices, manage unposted batch voucher workflows, and drive end of month procedures. Functional configuration included supplier account reconciliations, inter company reconciliation flows, monthly accruals for stock and expenses, GRNI reporting, and provision of GST exempt and GST error workbooks to senior management.
Operational coverage spanned Tradelink finance and Accounts Payable teams in Australia, including Brisbane operations, and explicitly supported workflows for investigating supplier Cost file rejected price variance claims to avoid stop supply and payment delays. The solution was integrated with supplier cost file feeds and internal dispute handling workflows to surface rejected transactions for resolution and escalation.
Governance was implemented as formalized month end close procedures, integrity checks and reconciliations, unposted voucher controls, and structured reporting delivered to senior management. Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne served as the ERP Financial backbone for these governance and operational reporting processes.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Tradelink implemented Workday HCM in a Core HR deployment to centralize personnel administration across its Australian retail operations. Workday HCM served as the company HRIS with Super User coverage and daily processing workflows for new starters, internal movements, departures, and employment paperwork. The deployment supported HR operations for approximately 2100 employees in retail and corporate support functions.
Functional configuration concentrated on personnel administration, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, remuneration review workflows, absence management, and targeted HRIS data remediation. Workday HCM was configured to support annual programs such as performance reviews and remuneration reviews, and it was the platform used for HR projects including payroll remediation and HRIS data cleanup. Ongoing Super User responsibilities included system configuration, data stewardship, and maintenance of policy-driven workflow logic.
Operational emphasis included alignment of payroll data and HR master data, with HRIS data remediation used to establish Workday HCM as the single source of truth for employee records. The implementation impacted HR, payroll, and line managers across Tradelink’s Australian retail network, standardizing personnel administration and approval workflows. Integration activity was focused on data reconciliation and payroll alignment rather than the introduction of new named third party systems.
Governance and process changes were formalized during rollout, including development and embedding of a Probation Review Policy and a Uniform and Dress Code Policy into HR procedures and system workflows. Tradelink reported discrete outcomes tied to the program, including an annual cost reduction of 200K from a new uniform provider and a reduction of annual leave liability through an annual leave cash out program and leave remediation project. Remediated HRIS data and Super User governance supported sustained compliance and operational control within the Workday HCM Core HR environment.
