Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2009 2010
In 2009, TransRe implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment targeted the Hong Kong finance organization of the mid-sized insurance firm, aligning core ledger and reporting processes with corporate accounting requirements. Infor SunSystems was configured to support core financial modules typical of an ERP Financial solution, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and structured financial reporting workflows. Configuration emphasized chart of accounts alignment, multicurrency ledger handling, and month-end and quarter-end close orchestration to meet insurance accounting cadence. Reporting and consolidation used Infor SunSystems together with Vision, with TransRe generating monthly and quarterly reports by using Sun System and Vision. Data flows were organized so financial data from Infor SunSystems fed reporting processes in Vision to produce consolidated period reporting for the finance organization. Governance and operational ownership rested with TransRe finance and accounting teams, who maintained standard operating procedures for period close and report production. Controls and role-based access were defined to support regulated financial reporting within the Hong Kong entity.

Governance around data models, user roles and release cadence was instituted to maintain analytical consistency and control as adoption spread through TransRe Hong Kong operations.
