| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Netsuite OpenAir | Professional Services Automation | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013 Trapeze Group implemented Oracle Netsuite OpenAir as its Professional Services Automation platform to standardize project and resource workflows across multiple business units. The deployment included primary administration responsibility for the NetSuite OpenAir environment covering a deployment to over 800+ users, while configuration and support responsibilities extended to over 500 Sales and Support cloud users within the organization. This implementation established Oracle Netsuite OpenAir as the central system for project-based operations and resource planning.
Configuration work focused on core Professional Services Automation capabilities, including project management, resource allocation, time and expense capture, billing and project accounting workflows. The team built and maintained three custom Customer Portals to surface project and service information to external and internal stakeholders, and performed solution audits to validate vendor selection and to scope required third party applications. Custom configuration and administrative controls were applied to align the application with professional services delivery processes.
Integrations were a significant part of the implementation, with single sign on to Salesforce.com implemented using on premise ADFS to unify authentication across CRM and PSA. The deployment included custom integration solutions and ETL orchestration connecting Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, Scribe Software as the ETL layer, MS SQL, MS Access and CSV file sources to synchronize project, resource and financial data. These integrations linked CRM and ERP data flows to Oracle Netsuite OpenAir to support cross functional visibility.
Governance and operational rollout emphasized centralized administration, role based access and ongoing solution stewardship by the primary configuration and support administrator. The administrator performed solution audits, guided third party app and integration choices, and maintained the custom portals and integration pipelines to ensure continued alignment with Sales Support and professional services processes. Ongoing operational support and configuration maintenance were primary responsibilities following the initial rollout.
