The implementation covered trading and settlement workflows between extractive issuers and commodity traders, and supported initial token types that were tested by issuers such as palladium, cobalt, and copper.
Governance and operational controls implemented include permissioned access for counterparties, regular audits of metal reserves backing issued tokens, and issuer-facing controls for token lifecycle management. The platform also surfaces issuer access to financing channels and a new pool of investors, and it required Atomyze to secure regulatory licensing prior to full commercial operation.
