| Rossum.ai | Legacy | Rossum.ai Platform | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, TrueCar implemented the Rossum.ai Platform for AP Automation. The deployment targeted TrueCar's accounts payable function within the finance organization and focused on automating invoice intake and structural data capture to reduce manual data entry.
The Rossum.ai Platform implementation emphasized document ingestion, machine learning based data extraction, configurable validation rules, and human in the loop exception handling. Configuration work included schema mapping for vendor and invoice fields, automated field confidence scoring, and review queues for AP analysts to resolve extraction exceptions.
Operational configuration routed validated invoice data into TrueCar AP processing workflows where invoices proceed to approval and payment sequencing, and exceptions route to centralized AP review. The implementation was scoped to core invoice processing capabilities typical of AP Automation deployments, with setup tailored to TrueCar invoice formats and vendor document types.
Governance included role based access for AP reviewers, documented exception handling procedures, and iterative model retraining using TrueCar source documents to improve extraction accuracy. The Rossum.ai Platform is listed as a customer on rossum.ai, confirming the vendor customer relationship.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Benefits | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, TrueCar implemented Workday Benefits to centralize its Benefits Administration capabilities across the company. The deployment was supported by an internal Senior Workday Analyst role focused on configuring benefits plans, eligibility rules, and benefits lifecycle management for a roughly 441 headcount, remote-first workforce.
Workday Benefits was configured alongside Core HCM and integrated functional configurations for Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, and Recruiting to maintain master HR data cohesion and consistent eligibility logic. Configuration work included benefits plan setup, enrollment event handling, and development of Workday reporting including Advanced Reports, Matrix reports, and composite reports to surface enrollment and eligibility insights to HR business partners.
Integrations included connections to related third-party vendor applications and payroll feeds, with explicit responsibilities for integrations troubleshooting and maintenance. Operational ownership spanned HR business partners, the Security team for user access and permissions, and company management for reporting and decision support, reflecting cross-functional process integration between benefits administration and core HR processes.
Governance emphasized documented business processes, test plans, and support for Workday system updates and upgrades, with the Senior Workday Analyst role providing day-to-day operational support, security reassignments, and system change testing. Ongoing work focused on maintaining SOX controls, auditability of access, and continuous documentation to support benefits operations within the Benefits Administration program.

| MicroStrategy | Legacy | MicroStrategy ONE Analytics | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2014 | 2018 |
In 2014, TrueCar implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics to centralize reporting and dashboarding. The deployment sat within the company's Analytics and BI estate and used MicroStrategy ONE Analytics alongside Tableau to deliver automated reports and dashboards tracking company-wide KPIs.
Technical implementation emphasized creation of MicroStrategy public and schema objects, including metrics, filters, reports, and attributes, and the authoring of automated report logic for scheduled delivery. The team developed report prototypes and fulfilled ad-hoc requests to refine visual reporting for intended audiences and delivery formats. PII was extracted for ad-hoc and automated reporting via an internal Python based tool, which was incorporated into report generation workflows.
Reporting consumed and modified datasets housed in SQL Server, Hive, and Redshift, reflecting integration with the enterprise data warehouse and multi-engine query layers. MicroStrategy dashboards operated directly against these datasets while Tableau served as a complementary visualization layer for select audiences. Data extraction and transformation work in SQL Server, Hive, and Redshift supported the semantic layer and reporting performance.
Governance and operationalization included a BI data dictionary documented in Confluence that referenced common attributes and metrics, providing a single reference for report authors and reviewers. The team participated in QA efforts focused on reporting, data, and metric validation prior to distribution. MicroStrategy overview training was developed and delivered for onboarding business users and analysts, and the primary internal user administrator managed access and permissions for both MicroStrategy and Tableau. BI and Datawarehouse coordination was sustained through biweekly sprint planning, aligning delivery priorities and ad-hoc request handling.
The implementation supported business users and analysts across the company by enabling automated and ad-hoc reporting workflows, with MicroStrategy ONE Analytics serving as the central analytics platform. TrueCar MicroStrategy ONE Analytics Analytics and BI supported reporting, dashboarding, semantic layer management, and user administration.
