In 2022 Turner & Townsend implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its enterprise ERP Financial platform to consolidate finance processes and standardise best practices across its global footprint of 112 offices. Optimum, a Altice USA Company, created and delivered the first phases of D365 end user training and supported a phased global rollout approach to accelerate adoption and reduce disruption.
The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations focused on core ERP Financial functional capabilities common to the category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, project accounting and centralized financial reporting. Optimum worked closely with Turner & Townsend to configure role based functionality and deliver targeted end user training for finance and project teams, adapting courseware and delivery cadence to meet evolving requirements during the early phases.
Deployment was executed as a phased regional rollout, beginning in the United Kingdom, then continuing into Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East, with remaining regions scheduled to go live by the end of 2022. The program emphasized a single finance system architecture to support consistent management information across projects and customers, with country and project level operational coverage for finance, reporting and project accounting workflows.
Governance and process change centered on standardisation of financial controls and best practice workflows, accompanied by iterative decision cycles and training feedback loops led by Optimum. The move to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations is described by the customer as intended to provide better quality management information and greater reporting capabilities to support projects and growth.

In 2014, Turner & Townsend implemented HCSS HeavyBid. The deployment targeted Construction Bidding workflows to standardize pre construction cost estimating, bid preparation, and procurement support for government and large capital projects.
HCSS HeavyBid was configured to manage detailed line item estimating, parametric benchmarking, bid list creation and bid analysis, and structured cost reporting. The implementation leveraged industry estimating data sources such as RS Means, Trade Services, and Richardson's and incorporated those data sets into estimating templates using Uniformat and CSI Masterformat to align with Turner & Townsend estimating standards. Turner & Townsend HCSS HeavyBid Construction Bidding supported valuation checks, monthly cost reports, and value engineering option analysis workflows executed by the estimating and cost management teams.
Operational coverage included pre construction estimating, procurement activities, cost management during post contract change control, and bid assurance processes, with estimating teams and cost managers as primary users. Governance centered on standardized bid analysis reporting, formalized cost assurance of third party estimates, and training programs to uplift estimator proficiency and consistent use of estimating formats and templates.

| Bluebeam | Legacy | Bluebeam Revu | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 Turner & Townsend implemented Bluebeam Revu as its primary Collaboration application to standardize PDF workflows for cost management and construction project delivery. Bluebeam Revu was positioned to support estimating, document control and project management workflows across the firm’s government sector engagements and project delivery teams.
The Bluebeam Revu deployment emphasized core Collaboration capabilities typical of the category, including PDF markup and annotation libraries, digital takeoff and measurement tools, standardized markup sets and templates, punch list and closeout documentation workflows, and consolidated drawing set management. Configurations were aligned to estimating and cost planning needs, enabling annotated bid packages, structured submittal and RFI review cycles, and a consistent approach to markups and change documentation across projects.
Operational coverage focused on cost management, estimating, procurement support, onsite construction management and project controls teams, with explicit use cases in monthly cost reporting, valuation checks, change order documentation and closeout deliverables. The implementation supported established document control responsibilities such as tracking addenda, bulletins, new drawing sets, submittals and RFIs, and it dovetailed with existing estimating and scheduling practices used by the firm.
Governance centered on enforcing QA and document control processes through configured workflows and user training for estimators and project managers, and on embedding Bluebeam Revu into the firm’s change control and value engineering procedures. Turner & Townsend used formalized markup standards and training to ensure consistent application of Bluebeam Revu across pre construction, procurement and closeout stages.
