Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 UK Mission Enterprise implemented Infor SunSystems to centralize core ERP Financial operations for its finance and procurement functions. The deployment targeted the organisation’s accounts payable and treasury workflows across its UK operations, aligning the Infor SunSystems deployment with day to day invoice processing and payment orchestration. Infor SunSystems configuration emphasized Sun Accounts functionality to support high volume invoice processing, accounts payable ledger controls, creation and posting of internal credit notes, and processing of staff credit card statements. The implementation codified invoice matching and allocation routines, structured weekly payment runs, and provided transaction-level allocation of invoices against payments within the ERP Financial system. The Infor SunSystems implementation integrated with the Proactis accounting system to source correct purchase orders for three way matching and exception handling, enabling AP staff to match incoming invoices to Proactis purchase orders before posting. Operational workflows routed invoice queries to staff and Suppliers for resolution and supported withholding queried invoices from the payment run directly within Sun Accounts, preserving payment controls and exception visibility. Governance changes centralized invoice processing and payment run ownership within the finance team, standardizing procedures for raising internal credit notes, reconciling staff card statements, and allocating payments. Roles and handoffs were formalized around weekly payment runs and query resolution, embedding Infor SunSystems as the transactional control plane for UK Mission Enterprise ERP Financial operations.
