Prior to Odoo the institute operated a fragmented stack with Sage for accounting, Blue Office for leaves and timesheets, Jedox for business intelligence and budget reporting, and Microsoft Office tools used for contact management and ticketing. The Odoo Open Source ERP implementation integrated with Moodle, Signal Sign On from Switch and the institution Mail Server hosted on Microsoft 365, enabling unified data flows between learning management, authentication and messaging systems.
Governance and configuration work included adoption of Swiss localization components contributed by the Odoo Community Association for accounting and banking interaction, a flexible finance and budget reporting builder, and tiered validation workflows for expenses and invoicing. Implementation partners Pesol and brain-tec led the deployment and salaryApp integrations, Redcor collaborated on delivery, and the Odoo Community Association provided Swiss Localization components for accounting, banking interaction, flexible financial reporting, and tier validations used in expense and invoicing workflows.
