Oracle Legacy Oracle PeopleSoft Recruiting and Admissions Admissions and Enrollment Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016 In 2016, the University of Texas System implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Recruiting and Admissions to standardize applicant intake and decision workflows. The deployment targeted Admissions and Enrollment Management and was scoped to support three institutions within the system, aligning admissions processes with student records, transfer credit evaluation, and academic advising functions. The Oracle PeopleSoft Recruiting and Admissions implementation emphasized core applicant processing capabilities, application tracking, and admissions decisioning, with configuration work to align offer and enrollment status flows to institutional policy. Functional coverage extended into student records and transfer credit workflows, and leveraged Campus Solutions 9.0, 9.2 and Fluid components for configuration and user experience consistency across recruitment and campus solutions modules. Integrations and extensibility were handled through bolt-on modifications and targeted integrations, with explicit functional analysis and support for report definitions, data sources, XML templates and advanced query manager artifacts. Portal and access control integration was part of the deployment, and the program maintained production support practices including incident management, root cause analysis and request fulfillment for ongoing stability. Governance and rollout were organized under a campus solutions business analyst lead structure, with five direct reports and coordination across more than 15 functional leads, supporting three institutions. The implementation included formal test plans, functional specifications, end user training delivered in classroom and WebEx formats, and a liaison model between developers and functional users to manage configuration, modifications and operational handoff.
