Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2018 Vax implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial system to support finance and accounting across the organization. The implementation and day to day operation were run by a compact, centralized IT organization of roughly two people responsible for Active Directory, Office 365 user and license administration, help desk support and domain registrar administration. Operational scope covered more than 300 users and integration points with global facing and internal systems. Microsoft Dynamics GP was configured and extended inhouse, with developers modifying the application using Visual Basic to adapt transaction screens and processing flows. Data transformation and integration work was executed through Scribe, with Scribe jobs and alerts created and maintained on Scribe servers to transform and route data into Microsoft Dynamics GP databases. The setup supported core ERP Financial functional workflows including general ledger posting, accounts payable invoicing and accounts receivable processing. The technical architecture comprised virtualized infrastructure managed in XenCenter and a mixed Windows and Linux server estate, with SQL queries and jobs managing the flow of data between global facing systems and internal applications. Identity and access control integrated with Active Directory and Office 365 for user provisioning and security administration. Network and system health monitoring including MPLS oversight were part of ongoing operational controls to reduce user impact. Governance centered on the two person IT team with IS development ownership for Microsoft Dynamics GP customizations, Scribe job maintenance and SQL management. Change control and operational processes emphasized proactive monitoring, Scribe alerts and routine server maintenance to preserve transactional integrity in the ERP Financial environment. Ongoing responsibilities included DNS and registrar administration, hardware and printer management, and first line support for finance and warehouse system users.

Salesforce Legacy Salesforce Chat (formerly Salesforce Live Agent) Chatbots and Conversational AI AI-Powered Application n/a 2016 2016
In 2017 Vax implemented Salesforce Chat (formerly Salesforce Live Agent) to add real-time conversational capability to its public website, classifying the deployment under Chatbots and Conversational AI. The implementation was centered on live web chat as the primary customer engagement channel for post-sale support and inbound customer queries. Salesforce Chat (formerly Salesforce Live Agent) was configured to present contextual chat invitations and persistent chat widgets on site pages, with standard Chatbots and Conversational AI capabilities such as agent queueing, presence status, canned responses, and transcript capture. Configuration work focused on session routing rules, availability scheduling, and agent workspace setup to support synchronous messaging workflows. Operationally the deployment placed chat handling within Vax customer service operations and routed sessions into the Salesforce-hosted agent console, preserving chat transcripts and customer context alongside Salesforce records. The implementation emphasized integration into the Salesforce environment to surface customer context to agents and to store conversation history for case handling and follow up. Governance for the rollout included scripted greeting templates, routing by skill and business hours, and administrative controls for chat transcript retention and agent access. Ongoing configuration governance was used to manage escalation workflows and standardize agent responses within the Chatbots and Conversational AI implementation.
