In 2018, VCC Construction deployed Corpay AP Automation as its AP Automation solution to centralize accounts payable processing and supplier payment workflows. The initial rollout targeted the accounts payable function and supplier onboarding, enabling electronic payments for nearly every vendor category while immediately eliminating almost 1,000 paper checks per month.
Corpay AP Automation was configured to run card and ACH payment rails and to automate supplier onboarding and remittance routing. Nvoicepay performed upfront supplier onboarding work to remove the internal burden of bank payment setup, and the implementation captured credit card payment volume that generated rebate revenue tied to card processing.
The project integrated an electronic signature process using DocuSign to enable subcontractors to sign waivers and lien releases online, allowing VCC and Nvoicepay to construct an end to end paperless payments process. Operational coverage extended to temporary labor, trash, utilities, and overhead vendors such as FedEx and Staples, and VCC reported 85% of vendors were paid via card or ACH after implementation. The paperless workflow reduced bank fees and paper check handling while increasing internal visibility into payment status to better manage cash flow.
Governance and workflow changes centered on centralizing AP controls and vendor acceptance procedures, embedding electronic approvals and e signature steps to validate lien releases before payment. The faster, more predictable payment cadence strengthened subcontractor relationships and positioned VCC to offer quicker payment terms as a competitive advantage when soliciting bids.

In 2017 VCC Construction implemented Cisco Webex Meetings and adopted the Audio Video and Web Conferencing application to standardize real time collaboration across corporate and field teams. The initial deployment emphasized hosted meeting rooms, video and audio conferencing, screen sharing, and meeting recording to support project coordination and executive communications.
Cisco Webex Meetings was embedded with a WebEx Panel on the company website to provide direct meeting access for external stakeholders, subcontractors, and remote participants. Configuration work focused on scheduled meetings and calendar based scheduling, role based host controls, participant management, and published web panel controls to streamline joining flows for external attendees.
Operational coverage included project management, construction field operations, and executive leadership, with the platform used for client calls, project coordination, and subcontractor briefings. Governance centered on standardized meeting templates, host permission settings, and web panel publishing policies to enforce consistent session security and access management during rollout.
