The deployment targeted the company finance footprint while Vectura remains a United Kingdom headquartered life sciences company with approximately 450 employees, and the rollout concentrated on establishing a single application instance configured for multi site operations across the four ROI locations.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was configured to support core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets and statutory reporting. Configuration emphasized a standardized chart of accounts, automated bank reconciliation, period close workflows and role based security consistent with ERP Financial best practices. The implementation incorporated multi site ledger configuration and VAT compliant reporting to address Republic of Ireland statutory requirements.
Operational scope centered on finance and accounting functions with configuration supporting accounts payable processing, receivable collections and centralized financial reporting across the four ROI sites. Governance framed role based access controls, standardized month end close procedures and data control policies to maintain transactional integrity. IRIS CascadeHR was configured to manage end to end HR workflows including processing, completion and submission of forms for new hires, references, attendance, benefits, change of status and leavers. The implementation included automated generation of change letters that impact employees in relation to terms and conditions, promotions and salary increases, and operationalized onboarding, absence management and benefits administration workflows consistent with Core HR functional patterns.
Operational governance positioned the HR team as the system owner and first point of contact for all Cascade queries, providing advice, guidance and timely resolution of issues. Day to day responsibilities emphasized maintaining data accuracy in IRIS CascadeHR, managing the HR IT system, and ensuring HR processes such as form submission and change letter production were completed on time and with consistent accuracy.
