In 2018 Velosio implemented Clearstar ESR Check as its BackGround Screening application. The deployment placed Clearstar ESR Check at the center of pre-employment screening operations run by the Human Resources team, supporting background checks, drug testing orders, and reference check coordination for a company population of more than 300 employees across six offices in the United States.
Clearstar ESR Check was configured to manage order intake and results tracking for candidate screening workflows, and to align screening tasks with Velosio’s onboarding practices. Functional capabilities used included candidate screening queues, order management for drug and background checks, results reporting, and compliance-oriented documentation workflows that were operated by the HR coordinator and hiring managers.
Operational scope covered Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, HR administration, and compliance activity supporting six offices and the executive team. The implementation was incorporated into existing onboarding processes, including the Velosio Onboarding Template used by hiring managers and the HR coordinator’s routine of completing I9 forms and E-Verify for new hires.
Governance centered on embedding screening ownership within HR operational processes, standardizing how pre-employment screens were ordered and tracked, and providing a single system of record for screening results and reference requests. Clearstar ESR Check served as the BackGround Screening platform for Velosio’s HR function without named third party integration claims in the source notes.
