In 2016 Veritas Spain implemented SAP Retail in a project intended to deploy all existing processes from Veritas SAP ERP into the Ecorganic environment, with an explicit goal of minimizing business impact and keeping the transition transparent for users and stores. The initiative is categorized under Retail Management and focused on preserving operational continuity while consolidating process execution across both companies.
The implementation covered core Retail Management capabilities typical of SAP Retail, including configuration of store operations, inventory management, merchandising workflows, pricing and promotions controls, procurement touchpoints and master data stabilization. Project activity included detailed process mapping, configuration of the IS-Retail solution components and targeted adjustments to ERP process flows where improvements were identified.
A multidisciplinary project team was assembled drawing employees from Veritas and Ecorganic and experts in the IS-Retail solution from 3Hold Technologies, which provided domain and solution expertise during configuration and cutover. The deployment followed a centralized ERP provisioning into the Ecorganic instance of Veritas SAP ERP, with attention to transparent user interfaces and minimal disruption to point of sale and store operations.
Governance emphasized cross-company coordination, iterative process review and staged roll-out steps led by the joint project team. During the roll-out all processes in use by both companies were reviewed and several ERP improvements were introduced, and the project was carried out successfully fulfilling all the proposed objectives, producing benefits for both companies as a result of the collective effort and experience of the parties involved.
