The deployment centralized and modernized VBSP’s operations across its nationwide network and mobile branch program, enabling branch-level processing and support for mobile and agent banking channels. The implementation focused on Intellect Digital Core’s core banking and lending capabilities. iGCB Digital Core was configured to support retail and micro-lending workflows, loan origination and servicing, account processing, and offline agent banking modes to capture field transactions when connectivity is intermittent. Rollout integrated 692 branches and extensive field transaction points, extending system reach into mobile branch programs and agent networks. Connectivity and offline transaction capture were operationalized to reconcile distributed field activity with the central core and to support settlement and posting across sites. Operational governance centralized core operations while introducing new processes for agent banking, field reconciliation, and mobile branch operations. Post-implementation the bank reported approximately 20 percent customer growth, approximately 30 percent loan-count growth and delinquency reduced to under 1 percent. |
