Data migration used the Data Import Export Framework to import master and transactional data from Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, and reporting was delivered through SQL Server Reporting Services in Visual Studio 2010 together with Precision Forms Designer. Operational responsibilities included AX database backup and restore procedures, configuration reset after restores, custom user security by creating roles duties and privileges, and performance tuning using AX Trace parser DynPerf monitor and SQL Profiler.
Integration work connected Microsoft Dynamics AX with Salesforce, SANA, Experlogix, Vertex and FlintFox using the Application Integration Framework and data entities, augmented by REST OData over JSON for API style exchanges.
