Functional configuration emphasized retail business process support to handle purchasing and sales cycles specific to frozen vegetables, fruit and potato product lines.
Program governance was led by the Oerlemans Foods program manager who was responsible for the cross border rollout and deployment at the Polish plant. The implementation completed successfully on January 1, 2013, and starting in 2013 Oerlemans Foods was able to manage its food business end to end and respond proactively to dynamic market conditions. Oerlemans Foods operates four modern production facilities, employs about 740 staff and exports to roughly 50 countries as part of VION Food Group.
