Oracle Legacy Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial ERP n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, ViON Corporation implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for ERP Financial. The deployment was managed as a central technical application program with regional rollouts across Europe, Asia and the Americas, reflecting a multi-region operational scope for core financial operations. The implementation leaned on JD Edwards CNC architecture alongside Oracle in the Cloud infrastructure to support core financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets management. Configuration and automation focused on financial transaction processing, period close workflows and financial reporting capabilities consistent with ERP Financial functional expectations. Operational coverage included daily technical operations management of two main ERP systems, JDE and Oracle, and a service management function responsible for incident, change and release coordination. The team manager for Technical Application Management ERP governed the CNC environment and cloud-hosted components while supervising rollout sequencing and technical runbooks. Governance emphasized centralized service management, coordinated roll-outs and outsourced partner management, with the team manager role held from April 2008 to August 2012 overseeing service management, daily technical operations and management of outsource partners. Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne served as the central ERP Financial system within this operational and governance model.
