In 2010, Viridian implemented SAP S/4HANA Utilities as part of an Enduring Solution program for Northern Ireland Electricity and Power Northern Ireland based out of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The implementation positioned SAP S/4HANA Utilities as the core Utilities ERP platform supporting billing, customer service, asset and meter data workflows across the utility business function.
The program integrated multiple functional modules and capabilities, notably SAP IS-U for industry specific billing and device management, SAP BI for reporting and analytics, and SAP PI for interface orchestration. The deployment emphasized meter to cash, customer care, billing configuration, and operational reporting as primary functional streams within SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
Integration architecture relied on middleware to orchestrate connectivity, specifically SAP PI and Tibco for message routing and system integration, with Tibco BC and BW in the data movement and staging layer. The solution landscape included Liberty Systems, ServiceNet, CC&B, Doc1 and E2 as connected systems, enabling document and workforce interfaces, customer care interoperability, and enterprise reporting through SAP BI and BW.
Governance was run through the Enduring Solution delivery program with centralized configuration controls and cross functional process alignment across billing, customer operations and field service. Rollout was centered on Belfast operations and focused on embedding Utilities ERP workflows into existing operational processes, with program level oversight to manage interfaces and data flows.

In 2016, Viridian implemented ION Openlink Endur as its ETRM platform for a greenfield trading rollout focused on Irish power and gas markets. The ION Openlink Endur deployment was scoped to support wholesale Power, Gas, carbon and renewable trading and to provide a unified transaction and position backbone for trading operations.
Configuration work centered on trade capture and position management, market data pricing integration, deal lifecycle processing and settlement workflows consistent with ETRM functional patterns. The implementation explicitly modeled Viridian's wholesale Power, Gas, carbon and renewable trading in ION Openlink Endur, aligning instrument definitions, valuation routines and contract structures with commercial trading practices.
Design and delivery included all inbound and outbound interfaces to external systems, explicitly including ABB nMarket, Morningstar Pricing application, the Price and Volume Forecasting system, Orders and Auctions system, and Meter and Generation data. Interfaces were specified for market data feeds, pricing and forecast ingestion, order and auction flows, and operational meter and generation data to support front-to-back trading, scheduling and settlements processes.
The interface workstream was led by a lead business analyst who led a combined offshore and onsite team responsible for interface design, integration testing and deployment sequencing. The program included analysis of deal migration into Endur and established interface governance and testing handoffs to support the greenfield rollout.
