In 2019, Vodafone Group migrated from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA to consolidate disparate ERP landscapes and establish a single digital foundation. SAP S/4 HANA was implemented as Vodafone Group’s ERP Financial backbone, supporting finance, procurement, HR and supply chain business functions across the enterprise.
The implementation included core financials and procurement configuration alongside targeted deployments of SAP SuccessFactors for HR, SAP Ariba for procurement sourcing and SAP Concur for travel and expense workflows. Vodafone standardized approximately 85 percent of its core business processes across 24 countries and increased automation levels to over 60 percent, while adopting a single data model to harmonize master data and transactional reporting.
Architecturally the program emphasized end-to-end process support and intelligent technologies, with SAP S/4 HANA integrated into a digital stack that enables advanced analytics and machine learning for next generation product and service development. SAP Services and Support provided technical design, migration workshops, cut-over planning and go-live support to execute the migration and preserve transactional continuity.
Operational scope covered mission-critical areas serving more than 100,000 global employees and over 300 million customers, simplifying workplace interactions in HR, travel and expense and supply chain. Governance focused on global process standardization and centralized data models to enable consistent operations and business-wide insights across Vodafone Group.

In 2016 Vodafone Group implemented Benify Benefits as a cloud-based employee compensation and benefits portal. Benify Benefits was deployed to provide a centralized Benefits Administration solution for Vodafone Group HR, enabling compensation visibility and employee self-service across targeted employee populations.
Deployment centered on Benify Benefits core capabilities, including benefits enrollment workflows, compensation and benefits catalog presentation, and employee self-service configuration consistent with Benefits Administration functional workflows. Implementation work included role-based access configuration for HR and managers, localization of benefit offerings and communication templates, and staged configuration to match business unit requirements.
Governance and rollout were executed through formal stakeholder management, scheduled client workshops and seminars at project launch, and ongoing coordination of internal resources to maintain technical feasibility and delivery timelines. Post-launch account management for Vodafone Group included contract renewal and upsell activities managed by Benify, and a dedicated project and account manager model to sustain adoption and align the new system with HR operational processes.

In 2018, Vodafone Group implemented InfoBPMS in Samoa to integrate its telecom and digital TV operations with Informatics' AvaBill, establishing a converged billing and field sales orchestration layer. InfoBPMS was deployed as a Business Process Management application to centralize workflow orchestration for customer acquisition, billing convergence and field sales execution, linking CRM touchpoints with product and payment flows. The project targeted Vodafone Samoa operational domains including telecom services and digital TV, and extended to roadshow sales teams via a mobile application for instant customer onboarding and real time payments.
The implementation used converged billing workflows and field sales workflow automation as primary functional patterns, inferred from the vendor case description and mapped into InfoBPMS workflow models. Configuration emphasized process orchestration, business rules for service bundling and billing convergence, and mobile workflow support to enable sales agents to create accounts and capture payment information in real time. The deployment leveraged typical Business Process Management capabilities such as process modeling, case management and runtime orchestration to coordinate CRM, sales and operations handoffs.
Integrations were explicit to Informatics' AvaBill for billing mediation and settlement, and to mobile payment flows to support instant payments during roadshow onboarding. Operational coverage included Vodafone Samoa field sales, CRM teams and operations groups for both telecom and digital TV product lines, with the mobile app serving as the primary frontline channel for new customer acquisition. The program produced converged billing and streamlined CRM, sales and operations processes while enabling a field sales mobile channel that supported instant onboarding and real time payments as reported in the source case.
