The project produced 33 workflows since August 2024, and Bounteous acted as an accelerator on the initiative supporting technical delivery and rollout across teams. The N8N AI Workflow Automation deployment focused on SOAR orchestration and CI/CD workflow automation, with configuration oriented around alert triage automation, incident enrichment, automated remediation playbooks, and expanded logging and observability flows. Functional capabilities implemented include workflow templating, conditional branching for alert prioritization, and automated pipeline triggers to support engineering release processes, consistent with AI Workflow Automation category capabilities. Integrations were implemented at the protocol and pipeline level to connect security telemetry, monitoring platforms, and engineering CI/CD toolchains, enabling orchestration between SOC event streams and engineering workflows. Operational coverage explicitly included cybersecurity and SOC operations, engineering teams, and monitoring processes within Vodafone UK, with workflows instrumented for cross-team handoffs and automated ticketing or escalation paths. Governance and rollout were executed with Bounteous as an accelerator, applying phased adoption across SOC, engineering, and monitoring units and standardizing workflow templates and change controls. Outcomes reported by the case study include improved alert triage, expanded logging, avoidance of approximately £2.2M in costs, and a savings of over 5,000 person-days, with workflow growth and operationalization documented from August 2024 onward. |
