In 2021, VOXX International implemented Deck Commerce Order Management to centralize Order Management for its multi-brand e-commerce portfolio. The initial rollout targeted Premium Audio Company, a VOXX subsidiary with the highest direct-to-consumer transaction volume, with plans to expand capacity across multiple locations.
The Deck Commerce Order Management deployment configured inventory management, order orchestration and transaction processing modules to automate standard order flows. Implementation included automation for fraud review, automated returns, pre-orders and backorders, and was sized against a scalable reference architecture intended to process up to 98% of orders automatically.
Deployment used the Deck Commerce Order Management extension for Adobe Commerce and relied on pre-built integrations and APIs to connect e-commerce storefronts and payment and service platforms. Explicit integrations included Adobe Commerce, Affirm Deferred Payment and Zendesk Customer Service Portal, enabling orchestration between checkout, payment authorization and customer support workflows.
Deck Commerce provided OMS discovery, implementation, training, testing and commissioning support to establish governance and order management best practices. Operational ownership centered on e-commerce operations and customer service workflows at Premium Audio Company, with the implementation designed to scale to additional VOXX brands and sites.
Intelligent automation reduced manual processing and human error, and the deployment aimed to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience while providing headroom to scale order volume. The solution emphasizes the relationship between VOXX International, Deck Commerce Order Management and Order Management business functions.
