In 2023 Vrtko implemented Spica Zone Touch as the Time Clock (Hardware) component alongside a SPICA All Hours time and attendance deployment. The rollout targeted multiple Slovenian sites, centralizing clocking capture and establishing a single feed for payroll integration across the organization.
Spica Zone Touch Time Clock (Hardware) was applied for card based and device clocking, delivering terminal level time capture and employee identification at point of work. The hardware functioned as the capture layer while SPICA All Hours provided time and attendance processing, schedule stamping and exportable payroll records.
Integrations included a payroll integration from SPICA All Hours that consolidated clocking events from Spica Zone Touch across retail locations, supporting HR and payroll operations. Operational coverage encompassed HR and payroll teams, frontline managers and employees at Vrtko retail sites in Slovenia, aligning daily clocking workflows with pay processing.
Governance and process changes emphasized consolidated clocking records and manager and employee visibility into hours worked, which supported streamlined correction procedures. According to the case materials this approach reduced monthly correction time and cut unauthorized overtime through improved visibility and aligned payroll feeds.
