Corcentric Invoice Management was configured to automate invoice capture and invoice-to-payment reconciliation, while the Corcentric Procurement capabilities standardized ordering through three pre programmed shopping carts for frequently purchased items. Purchase orders are generated within the shopping cart workflow and automatically transmitted to suppliers, embedding purchase order generation into the procure-to-pay flow and enforcing catalog based purchasing. Governance and process changes centered on standardized procurement rules and embedded controls within the shopping cart and PO workflows, strengthening procurement oversight for the finance and procurement teams. As a result of the implementation, invoicing is faster and more accurate, collaboration across stakeholders improved, time spent on manual tasks was substantially reduced, and Watermark achieved 34% higher spend compliance rates.

Governance and process changes were formalized through creation of HR user guides and training of HR designees across all locations, central management of electronic and paper HR and payroll records, oversight of rate changes, leave status processing including FMLA, and administration of workers compensation and garnishment workflows. The implementation emphasized centralized operational control from corporate HR, documented procedures for site level HR designees, and audit support for location level records and compliance requests.
