Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2014 2018
In 2014, Watson Electrical implemented Workday HCM to address Core HR needs across the organization. The initiative was executed as a full life cycle implementation of Workday HRIS, aligning the application footprint with the companys HR operational model for a 600 employee construction and real estate services firm headquartered in the United States. The deployment centered on Core HR capabilities within Workday HCM, including configuration of the employee data model, organizational management, position management, and compensation administration consistent with Core HR functional workflows. The team participated in system configuration, testing, and cutover activities, and established recurring processes for compensation cycles and merit event orchestration. Watson Electrical led a Workday global merit process as part of the rollout, demonstrating cross-functional governance between HR and people operations and embedding merit cycle controls into the Workday HCM environment. Ongoing HCM Workday HRIS administration is performed internally to maintain master data, manage security roles, and support periodic talent and compensation events. Governance adjustments included formalizing approval workflows for merit increases and centralizing HRIS administration to ensure governance over employee records and compensation changes. The implementation narrative reflects sustained operational ownership of Workday HCM and active management of Core HR processes rather than a temporary or limited pilot.

Viewpoint Construction Legacy Viewpoint Spectrum Construction Accounting Software Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2018
In 2014, Watson Electrical implemented Viewpoint Spectrum Construction Accounting Software as its Construction ERP to support payroll, work order billing, and job billing across finance and field operations. The 600 employee construction contractor centralized accounting and billing workflows within Viewpoint Spectrum Construction Accounting Software to align project accounting, payroll processing, and filing activity under a single application. The implementation configured explicit payroll processing and job billing capabilities, and operationalized work order billing tied to job cost tracking and invoicing. Spectrum Accounting Software was used to establish filing workflows for project documentation and to standardize job billing engines and billing run schedules. Viewpoint Spectrum Construction Accounting Software was integrated with Field Work Center 3.8 for payroll, enabling field time capture and payroll data synchronization between crews and the accounting core. Operational coverage included finance, payroll, project management and field crews in the United States, with data flows designed to move time and payroll records from Field Work Center 3.8 into the Spectrum accounting ledger. Governance changes emphasized centralized approval and validation of payroll and billing, reconciling job billing with accounting records and enforcing consistent filing practices. The deployment introduced process controls for payroll validation from the field, formalized work order billing approvals, and aligned job billing outputs with Spectrum general ledger workflows.
