Sage Legacy Sage Intacct ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Wikimedia Foundation implemented Sage Intacct as its core ERP Financial application to support centralized financial management across the organization. The implementation sits within a multi-system ERP ecosystem that explicitly includes COUPA Procurement, Coupa Expense Management, Coupa Contracts Lifecycle Management, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Namely HRIS, and it targets finance, procurement, planning, and HR business functions. The Sage Intacct deployment focused on configuration, data model design, and system enhancements to support standard ERP Financial workflows such as general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable orchestration, expense reporting feeds, and budgeting integration. The team conducted iterative configuration, testing, and reconfiguration cycles to refine transaction flows and to establish a database processing environment that supports ongoing application maintenance and upgrades. Integrations were implemented to exchange transactional and master data with Coupa modules for procure-to-pay and expense management, with Coupa Contracts Lifecycle Management for contract financial terms linkage, with Workday Adaptive Planning for budgeting and forecasting alignment, and with Namely HRIS for employee master data and payroll reconciliation. These integration points were treated as cross-functional interfaces, enabling coordinated workflows between procurement, accounting, FP&A, and HR. Governance and process change were driven by an internal ERP Technology Engineer partnering with a Senior Business Analyst and operational leaders, executing design, configuration, testing, and iteration workstreams and coordinating with external technical partners on select projects. The program included vendor engagement for product roadmaps and support cases, and produced system enhancements intended to increase productivity and improve strategic planning capability.

Greenhouse Legacy Greenhouse ATS Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Wikimedia Foundation implemented Greenhouse ATS as its Applicant Tracking System. The Greenhouse ATS is used as the Foundation's primary talent acquisition platform and is surfaced on the public careers site via Greenhouse's hosted job board at boards.greenhouse.io/wikimedia, capturing candidate applications directly from the website. This deployment supports Wikimedia Foundation's HR and recruiting functions for an organization of roughly 550 employees. Greenhouse ATS provided standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities including job requisition management, candidate workflow orchestration, interview scheduling, and offer management, enabling structured hiring pipelines and role based recruiting workflows. Operational scope centers on Talent Acquisition and HR processes, with the system functioning as the central application intake and candidate tracking layer integrated into Wikimedia Foundation's public careers presence. Governance emphasized standardizing hiring workflows and interview orchestration across recruiting teams, aligning sourcing through the hosted job board with ATS lifecycle management.

ComboCurve Legacy ComboCurve ComboCore Predictive Analytics AI-Powered Application n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 Wikimedia Foundation implemented ComboCurve ComboCore as a Predictive Analytics application to augment performance monitoring across its global infrastructure administered from the United States. The implementation targeted SRE and infrastructure operations supporting bare metal and other servers where collectd collects CPU, disk, memory and other system metrics and forwards them to Graphite and Grafana for performance and synthetic testing. ComboCurve ComboCore was configured to operate on aggregated system metrics, applying predictive analytics workflows such as time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and baseline modeling to support synthetic testing scenarios. Configuration efforts emphasized metric ingestion, alignment of retention policies with existing Graphite pipelines, and exposing forecast and anomaly outputs alongside existing dashboards. The deployment was integrated with the existing collectd to Graphite and Grafana metric pipeline, enabling ComboCore to consume historic and real time metric streams for SRE use. Operational coverage encompassed Wikimedia Foundation administered infrastructure globally, with monitoring and dashboard practices captured in public Wikitech runbooks. Governance centered on embedding predictive alerts and forecast views into SRE runbooks and incident response workflows, with configuration and dashboard ownership coordinated by the infrastructure teams. The implementation relied on ComboCurve ComboCore to provide predictive monitoring capabilities that worked in concert with the established collectd, Graphite, and Grafana stack.
