In 2020, Wiley Education Services implemented Acoustic Content (formerly Content Hub) as its Web Content Management platform to transform the online experience for prospective students recruited on behalf of its higher education partner schools. The selection emphasized a cloud based content management system with built in AI services to support engaging digital experiences and content automation across recruitment channels.
Configuration centered on standard Web Content Management capabilities, including centralized content authoring, templating and content modeling, AI assisted content recommendations, and content lifecycle orchestration to support targeted student journeys. Implementation work balanced reusable content components and personalization rules with campaign ready assets to enable faster production of recruitment pages and nurturing content.
Acoustic Content was deployed alongside Acoustic Campaign, enabling tighter linkage between content delivery and campaign orchestration, and to move beyond data collection into analysis, forecasting, and prescriptive action. The implementation was designed to integrate with Wiley’s broad marketing technology ecosystem of more than 70 tools, with operational coverage focused on marketing operations and student recruitment workflows supporting partner schools.
Governance and rollout were informed by consulting with the Acoustic team to ensure new tooling streamlined rather than complicated marketing processes, driving standardized content governance and cross functional workflows between recruitment, marketing operations, and partner engagement teams. The initiative explicitly aimed to convert analytics into forecasting and prescriptive actions to build stronger relationships between prospective students and the schools that recruit them.
