Configuration work focused on centralized promotional rules and pricing controls together with terminal-level configurability to support shop level operations and promotional orchestration.
OpenBet was provisioned to operate alongside William Hill's retail technology stack, linking generically to point of sale functions, customer account records, and settlement and reconciliation workflows to operationalize promotions and cashiering. Operational coverage included front-of-shop retail teams, trading and promotions teams, and back office reconciliation and reporting functions, enabling centralized campaign management and real-time terminal updates.
Governance established centralized configuration controls and role based access for trading, retail operations, and approvals, with operational workflows adapted for promotional publication and terminal content updates. Rollout activities reflected staged terminal software updates and staff training to align shop staff to OpenBet Promote workflows and operational procedures.
