In 2013, Wittusen & Jensen implemented Infor M3 as its Manufacturing ERP to centralize sales order processing and budgeting workflows. The deployment targeted the companys sales and finance functions, with explicit configuration to support inside sales activities and sales consultant postage cost allocation tied to new sales and budget structures.
Infor M3 was configured to support order to cash and financial budgeting capabilities common to Manufacturing ERP deployments, with focused configuration for sales order management, budget capture and approval workflows. The implementation emphasized operational support for inside sales tasks and sales reporting, and included configuration to capture sales consultant postal cost consequences as part of order and budget records.
The Infor M3 implementation operated alongside Movex and SuperOffice as work tools, with SuperOffice used as a CRM touchpoint for sales users and Movex present in the application landscape as an operational reference. Operational scope covered sales and finance departments across Wittusen & Jensens Norway operations, with governance adjustments to budgeting and inside sales processes to align transactional data across systems. In 2013, Wittusen & Jensen began implementing SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) as its eCommerce platform, following a board-approved investment in May 2013. The supplier selection process completed between June and September 2013, development work started in December 2013 and the solution was deployed in June 2014, with the implementation intended to consolidate all e-business channels including web, portals and IBX under a single platform.
The implementation of SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) focused on core eCommerce capabilities, including storefront and portal components, catalog management and order capture workflows, and integration-oriented IBX message routing. The solution was based on Hybris technology and provided by iStone, and it was configured to support business-to-business selling patterns and automated order processing consistent with enterprise eCommerce functional patterns.
Integrations emphasized interoperable messaging and electronic invoicing, Wittusen & Jensen participated in standardization work with DIFI and adopted the EHF messaging format derived from the PEPPOL standard for structured document exchange. Operational responsibility covered the companys entire e-business stack, with the commerce platform linked into portal services and the IBX message flows to support invoicing and procurement interfaces.
Governance and rollout followed a board-sanctioned timeline with staged testing and training activities, formalized testing cycles and a training program for business users. Post-deployment support included testing, training and second-line support arrangements to sustain the SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) eCommerce environment.
