UKG Legacy UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) Core HR HCM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Woodstone, Inc implemented UKG Pro HCM, ex UltiPro HCM, as its Core HR system to centralize employee records, time capture, and payroll processes across the company. The implementation focused on establishing a single source of truth for workforce data that feeds project cost accounting workflows used by construction and field teams. The UKG Pro HCM deployment was sized for a 50 employee organization and oriented toward time and labor capture tied to job codes and cost objects. UKG Pro HCM was configured to manage core HR master data, time and attendance entries, and payroll calculations that include labor burden allocation to projects. Configuration included standardized project and phase cost codes in the HR time templates, approval routing for timecards, and payroll export mapping to external accounting systems. These functional modules were set up to produce exportable payroll and time files that can be reconciled against project labor costs. Integrations were defined to connect UKG Pro HCM with Spectrum, Procore, and ComData to produce an end to end project cost flow. Time and labor details originate in UKG Pro HCM and are exported into Procore for granular job costing and into Spectrum for general ledger and job cost ledger posting. ComData transaction data for fuel and vendor card charges are reconciled to the same project cost objects in Spectrum, enabling the accounting system to unify payroll, subcontractor, and fleet spend against project budgets. Governance and operational workflow focused on mapping project codes consistently across UKG Pro HCM, Procore, Spectrum, and ComData, enforcing time entry and approval rules, and scheduling periodic reconciliations between payroll outputs and the job cost ledger. Responsibilities were assigned to payroll and project accounting owners to validate mappings and to approve exceptions, and change controls were established for updates to cost code tables. The resulting architecture positions UKG Pro HCM as the workforce data hub that feeds project cost accounting across Spectrum, Procore, and ComData.
